Chance has been learning what true family and love feels like. He gets along so well with other babies smaller than him, including cats! Because of his past traumas, we’re working on getting him more confident around bigger dogs again; He LOVES attention, affection, showing off all his toys, & fetching a good ball. Hims a good boy in his kennel and potty trained! Chance was aged at 9yrs young and sits handsome at 60lbs. He’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines!
Because he loves being around his humans so much and his ruff past life, he does struggle with a bit of separation anxiety. His Veterinarian has prescribed him a very low dose of trazadone as needed to help ease his worries. He would do best in a home that will give him plenty of love, patience, trust, attention, belly rubs, car rides, and all the toys!
GABRIEL

This sleepy bean has a tiny eye and a big heart! He does have KCS in his left eye, birth defect in his right (non-bothersome), and is hypothyroid. He gets eye drops + thyroid meds twice daily (super easy-promise!); He has some 'navigation/seeing issues' but is still somewhat visual. He spends most of his time curled up in a nap ball but also enjoys following you around, cuddling, or bathing in the sun.
LUNA

Luna is a 12 yr old, spayed female, who sits at 12 lbs. She’s a super chill girl, who thoroughly enjoys nap time. She gets along great with all her foster sibs but definitely enjoys her 1:1 time. Luna is potty trained with a doggy door and loves sunbathing. She was recently vetted (Feb 2024) with normal lab results but does need her liver values rechecked every 3-6 months as a precaution from past results. She is missing most of her teeth, with a few tiny clean ones left but it doesn't stop her from loving meal time. If you're looking for a sweet and independent princess, Luna might be your girl!
RAMBO

My name is Rambo and I am a 5 year old neutered male chihuahua. I was found in a neighborhood and when the nice rescue lady called for my microchip info and then called my owner, they did not want me back! My foster mom does not know why because she says I am such a good dog. I am super friendly and I will actually hug you when you are holding and petting me. My favorite thing to do is to snuggle on someone’s lap or under a blanket. I get along well with other dogs, big and small and even cats! I love chew toys and treats. I am the definition of a snuggle bug!
RONNIE

Meet Ronnie! Ronnie is an approximate 10-12 yr old verrrry handsome good boy. This baby came into the shelter as a stray and no one came for him. After we were able to save him from jail life, we immediately got him to the vet where we discovered he had severe dental disease, a heart murmur, not neutered, a huge tumor under the base of his tail, and cataracts with visual impairment in his right eye. We were able to get him all fixed up with some toof extractions, neutering, and having his mass removed + sent out for a biopsy. His tumor was thankfully benign and his heart murmur isn’t currently causing any issues/requiring medications. Despite all of his struggles, Ronnie is still the best boy. Ron-Tron gets along great with all sized dogs, people, and he even likes cats! This sweet man has been described as literally perfect from his foster mama and he deserves the most perfect home. Some of his favorite activities include… napping with his human, taking a short stroll around the neighborhood, sunbathing, and being hand fed some soft treats. ROWAN

We busted Mr. Rowan out of our local high-kill shelter at the beginning of March! We weren’t given much history on this hunny.. But we've quickly learned how much he LOVES snuggling under all the blankets! He's a perfect boy for car rides, enjoys going on short walks, and sunbathing, of course! He’s potty trained with a doggy door and has been getting along smoothly with his foster sib (another cool senior chi); Once he’s been given some warm up time, he’s great with all humans, older/gentle kids, and other calm dogs. (Not tested with cats but with proper introduction/temperaments, would most likely do well.) Ro Ro is aged at 11 yrs young.. He’s neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and currently waiting for his forever home! He received a clean bill of health for his maturity, with normal blood work and x-rays! He does have a left luxating patella that requires daily joint/omega supplements and restrictions on jumping on/off furniture to help prevent injuries!
